Zhaoyang  CHANG

Zhaoyang  CHANG is first double bass soloist at the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège

      Born in Beijing, Zhaoyang Chang began his studies in 1990 at the High School of

Central Conservatory of China. From 1996 to 1998, he continued his training at the Central Conservatory of China. After three years in Norway, he became in 2001 Bachelor of double bass  at the Norwegian National Academy of Music. He then pursued a master's degree in orchestra’s conducting at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Liège from 2014 to 2016.

        His career professional starts at the Norwegian National Opera (1998-2001), before continuing at  Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra (2001-2002), Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra

(2002-2003) and the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra (2003-2009). In 2009, he was named

first double bass soloist at the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège (Belgium).
